The border effect can be achieved, very modern aesthetic, placing ceramic mesh. There are many kinds, colors and sizes (square or rectangular) depending on the manufacturer.
Normally this type of material you use for shower trays work (as you can see in another of my post: 01-Change bathtub shower ). But equally it is very nice placement on walls, and detail, especially when it is matched with plate work ... is a perfect combination (Photo 10_1A) .
When we think of borders, we will come to mind the typical whole pieces of 6 x 25 cms or other measures, but we perceive a concept of something old and outdated . In order to give originality to the reform, leaving the mesh placed space width or height, depending on whether you want to put across, around the perimeter of the wall surfaces -tile (Photo 10_1B) or vertically, from floor to ceiling (photo 10_2) (soon I'll post pictures of this bathroom finished) .
In the next picture you can see the indentation left to later put the pieces of ceramic tiles (Picture 10_3) .
