18-Permits or aware of capital works in Barcelona

I wanted to create this post because some of my clients ask me how the issue of building permits in the city.

Barcelona City Council provides free, what is called a "learned works" (in Catalan "assabentat d'obres"). It is just "tell" the City Council are going to do some work on your house (this service is intended only for individuals).

Reforms have to be inside the house without throwing bricks or redistribution to useful spaces.

This document has a maximum period of 3 months. And as I said above, can be ordered free of charge, through two systems:

If done via the Internet is a little confusing but if you follow the instructions is easily done as follows:

Report> "A house or premises" and the cadastral reference
(appears on property tax receipts, and Real Property Tax-)
Click "Confirm"

You will see a screen similar to above but with the "Home of the works", ie the address where you want to do the reform. Points to "the direction of the work is one of the following (logically it is correct) and" Continue. "

You have to point out the "features the works to make"> everything should be "No" and "Continue."

Finally the last screen that says "You have completed successfully the form." You can print the resulting PDF.

The current paper can be pasted on the entrance floor to reform, and to prevent headaches is also preferable to hang a copy on the goal of access to the street.


Although it seems a formality without much importance, at least as owners of the house to reform like me (or reform) we are left with the reassurance that if you ever call the local police at the door ... we have everything in order.
Fines are not to be frightened, but only think it is a "paperwork" for free and for sure no one will delay the reform and its implementation ... the truth is that it is worth investing a few minutes to apply it?.
